Meaning of Crime 101 

It refers as a fundamental or basic understanding or knowledge about committing an act  that are bad, dangerous  or harmful not only to some people but to a society or community in generally. 

Why does the film called "Crime 101"? 

The film storyline is about multiple illegal events happening that's are  crimes such as robbery, illegal business and false promises. 

My recommendations about  film 

Crime 101 is a crime, Drama and romance film with a mixture of themes such as robbery, relationship, family, love, poverty, disguise, illegal business and many more. Lately it's becoming harder to find good movie to watch , I'm not sure may be  film writers are out of good ideas to keep fans more interested and entertained. 

When I was watching the trailer of the film "Crime 101" ,I saw huge names of the people who are very talented and successfully in the film industry, names like Chris Hemsworth, Halle Berry, Mark Ruffalo and more that's when I believe the film is no joke. No time wasted I watched the film to the end. 

The film tells a story about a guy named Mike/James ( Chris Hemsworth ), He was orphan and  grew up in foster care, after becoming an adult he became a jewel robbery. He was carefully planning and executing heist without leaving any print, also nobody was hurt during the robbery, his work was clean. 

For many years Mike  job was easy, just hit and run but one day as usual he went to rob a car that had jewel , he almost got killed after one guy shot at him Later he went to Guy named Money who gave him a details about the heist, Mike was angry because the information about how many people will be in that car was wrong. 

Another side there was a woman named Sharon ( Halle Berry) ,she is insurance company employee. Sharon became  Mike's target since Her client are rich people, Mike followed her and reveal to her about his Job, she became angry because she thought Mike is a rich guy who is interested in her. Things went awkward at her Work, she quit job and  contact Mike to accept his offer which was revealing the details  from her rich clients. 

Sharon was afraid to go to prison so she made a choice to reveal everything to Detective Luo ( Mark Ruffalo ) about her connection with Mike, their plans and how its going to be executed. Mike took place as security guard while Detective Luo posing as courier himself, two of them deliver briefcase of jewel to a rich guy Mr. Monroe at the wedding suite . Inside the hotel room Mike took Detective Luo ,Monroe  and his fiancé Adrienne as hostages while it happening there was another player Ormon who invade the room attacks Mike  and force  everybody to kneel down  but the Detective Luo refused to do so ,Ormon starts arguing with Detective Luo because  he reject his order to put down guns , Ormon forgot about Mike and concentrate more on Detective Luo that's when Mike use that chance to pull out gun and  shot Ormon who instantly collapse and lost his life , moment later the Detective Luo allow Mike to escape  as a free guy  then Detective Luo force Monroe not to  say anything about the situation  because his secret of tax invasion and illegal transportations of jewel will be exposed. After everything Detective Luo sent jewels package to Sharon as a gift. 

After watching this film I had one issue ,the altercation during the robbery ,Guns was fired to Mike, bullet missed and slightly scraped his head A little blood dripped onto in the car and he left a car with evidence in the garage, Later Mike after Realizing his blood might be found by police he did not care, i do think they should tried a  little effort on this scene at least to make it match the reality like burn the car, drop it in river or went back and clean it to remove evidence.
