The term used to define a person especially young with no any kind of experience in a certain field who is highly require special training, guidance and protection from older and experienced person in order to grow, develop and progress in a particular field or career. The achievement of young person requires special relationship known as Mentorship which involves to pass on knowledge and skills to young person.

Why does the film named "Protégé"?

The storyline of the film itself is enough to give some idea about why the story writer "Richard Wenk" call it Protégé, shortly the film talks about older Guy "Samuel L Jackson" rescued a young girl "Maggie Q" from harm's way and put her under his wings, makes sure she is safe because bad guys wanted to kill her too also he trained and guided her to be the best assassin ever lived, so from simple explanations anybody can become aware and understand about the reason for the film to called Protégé.

My recommendation about the film “Protégé”

After watching a trailer of a film "Protégé”, I got the urge to watch the film because the acting capability of Maggie Q and Samuel L Jackson are unmatched, the combination of these two giant’s actors in film industry came together that made the film superb.

The Protégé is a quality action film that went without proper recognition from film fans globally. The leading actors are Maggie Q as Anna, together with Samuel L. Jackson as Moody Dutton and Michael Keaton as Michael, with a special appearance from Robert Patrick as Billy Boy. The film tells a story about a woman who was raised by a highly skilled assassin after her parents got murdered by gang of rebels under the order of their leader named Chu. Due to her Job, she had a lot of enemies who were looking to kill her but she escaped several death traps and almost got killed. Few days later she was crying and grieving after losing her guardian whom she loves so much. Anna could let it go easily decided to seek revenge against people responsible for the death of Guardian.

If you take enough time and think about the best and quality movies in terms of action, storyline, and themes, now a days it looks like a difficult task to produce ideas that may be considered distinctive and high quality. Even though the general idea of the movie is probably not unique in the world of films but it is very entertaining.
