The November Man [ 2014 ]

Film Summary

The film begins in Montenegro, 2008. An experienced agent from CIA named Peter Devereaux, together with CIA rookie as a partner named, David Mason are on the job, they are  job is to ensure the safety of  ambassador during the time of chaos. Mason is positioned on the top of the building as a sniper, to support when Peter working on the ground supervising the operation.

After closely examine the danger in the surrounding's, Mason recognize their Marker, providing information to his partner Peter. But Peter felt like something is wrong and commands David Mason not to shoot. Regardless of understandable commands , Mason disregard the potential danger and decide to shoot. He did not miss the marker, unexpectedly the kid happened to be at the center of the situation, a bullet hits the kid and he died on the spot. The operation turned into tragedy, left a mark into the life of CIA agents (Peter and David).

 After several years passed, now Peter Devereaux is retired and continued with his normal life without being bothered by any one. His normal life was interfered after his past boss named John Hanley , followed him and aske him to go in a mission. John Hanley informed Peter that one of the CIA agents named Natalie went in Mexico secretly to investigate the worst bad guy called Fedorov, Natalie is Peter's ex-girlfriend, John told Peter that agent Natalie discover a very threatening information that could create a very harmfully ideas. but her secret identity was exposed so she needs to be rescued also Hanley insist the operation must be conducted outside the jurisdiction.

When Fedorov was busy with how to look in public, Natalia secretly enters into his private locker and found a bunch of photos, papers contain information's about his involvement in crimes against humanity. She was able to screenshot some photos and paper but she immediately puts back materials as soon as she heard someone was coming. In Few moment Fedorov became aware about Natalie's doings, immediately he order his men to look for her.

Chaos arise across the street as Natalie finds the way out of the city. surrounded by Fedorov men from nowhere Devereaux came into the scene. remove her from harms way while bullets are flying around and took her away, by the meantime CIA are watching the entire scene through road camera but failed to know the person responsible for  interference.

While they are looking for the way out, Natalia told Peter a very private matter concerning both of them its about the kid called Lucy, Peter is the  father, something she never spoke about it before, now the operation became a family issue. During the chaos in the street she was shot by Mason, later her state of health deteriorate, Devereaux insisted her to reveal the name she found in the files, with a very quiet low voice she said "Mera Filipova" and she died in his hands. Peter took memory card from Natalie Phone.

Later Peter Devereaux handed over a name to Hanley, then Hanley tried to retrieve highly confidential details related to the name,  unexpectedly he was tackled vigorously by assassins. He severe damaged his private information before apprehended. Meanwhile, Mason is asked by his seniors the reason he did not unalive Peter Devereaux when the opportunity represented itself. Mason told them Peter was not the target also he was not much of a threat. The senior commanded him to go back and complete the task.

With a new mission as operation leader, Mason begins to track down his former mentor Peter Devereaux, at the same time Peter was tracing the evidence and realize that for him to get to Mera,first he has to get to a lady named "Alex", he never heard of her. similarly assassins works for Fedorov are looking for the same lady, later found out Alexa and Mera are the same person. 

Alexa is planned to interact with journalist to reveal the crimes done by Fedorov, assassin was approaching Alexa . Peter appear at a right time and informs her about the danger and helps her to leave the area, he gave her instructions through the phone as the situation worsened, within few minutes Mason appeared but he was too late, Peter was successful left with a girl.

Alexa asked by Peter about her involvement with Mera, but she refuse to admit all the claims. Peter identifies the hidden connections that guides him to an individual working directly with Arkady Fedorov named "Semyon Denisov" , after Peter put more pressure on Semyon, he ultimately spoke their plans which involves attacks organized by Federov himself to create chaos over oil, at all time when Semyon giving details, the CIA was silently observing through  camera.

The situation became more intense, after the journalist provided support to Alexa was unalive, pushing her to disappear and conceal herself. Eventually Peter found out Alexa is Mera through Hanley , Pretend to be someone else to conceal her true identity. Moment later Mason became aware concerning the daughter of Peter Devereaux, this adds more fire into the situation and made it more personal.

 Urge for vengeance ,Mera made a difficult decision to face Arkady Federov alone. But Peter interfere, enters with force into the home of Fedorov and pressure him to admit his doing in front of camera. with the use of force, Fedorov expose John Hanley the CIA agent as a mastermind of all chaos.

Soon after Peter and Mera left the scene, CIA Agents including Mason shows up  to an intense scene. Peter was able to leave but he made sure to leave all evidence including recorded audio of Federov admit to all crimes. On the other hand, Hanley intensify the situation by abducting Peter's  daughter (Lucy) and forcing  Mera to be exchanged with Lucy.

The end's scene shows Peter getting ready for exchange. but  Mason alone helps Peter to save her daughter Lucy, at the same time Mera almost killed due to an attack from a killer sent by Fedorov. At the exchange sites, Mason went against his superior Hanley and fights  his agent, gave a chance to Peter to assume control, previous hated each other but at the end they became one to attack the enemy.

After chaos cools down and safety of Lucy is assured, Mera reveal the whore secret plan to the entire universe, puts down Fedorov and Hanley empire. Finally, Fedorov thought is safe from the law and enjoy his life in the boat, but he was shot by bullet from sniper's riffle which ends his life on the spot. Finalize the film.
