Law abiding Citizen [ 2009 ]

Gerald Butler is indeed very skilled actor no doubt about that especially if you have seen his movies like Kandahar, Den of thieves, machine Gun Preacher, Cop shop, Plane  ,London has fallen and many more I'm sure you will agree with me on that, his performance is outstanding on the other side we have Jamie Foxx this guy is highly blessed with multiple talent ,He is singer ,comedian and film actor. He is in multiple movies such as DayShift, Project Power, Sleepless, Robin Hood, Back in action and much more, all that film  did better worldwide.

Imagine Two Most talented and successfully film actor in one movie, believe me you do not want to miss that movie, that movie is "Law Abiding Citizen" ,it involves Gerald butler as Clyde Shelton and Jamie Foxx as Nick ( Lawyer ).The film is a mixture of Crime, Horror, Thriller, Drama and Revenge 

The theme of the film involve betrayal ,Ego ,Selfishness, evil, genius ,loneliness and love. The film tells a story about man named  Clyde (Gerald) ,one day he was at his house with a family as usual, he heard the knock at the door and went to open it suddenly, he was attacked by two men, they stabbed Clyde on stomach and   proceeded to rob his house then grape his wife, kill his child and left him for dead but he survived. 

After gain his health back, Clyde decided to open a case in court ,Nick ( Public prosecutor ) as his Lawyer. Within few days  the two  robbers "Clarence Darby and Rupert Ames "were discovered and caught by police and delivered in court for judgment to be made. 

Nick as Public prosecutor never lost a case in his entire carrier but this case became difficult especially after to multiple evidence brought in, deemed unfit to stand in court, so to protect his reputation Nick decided to make irrational decision to offer plea deal to one of the robbery Clarence Derby without  Clyde participation. Later Nick told Clyde about agreement he made with Derby, Nick was upset and felt like betrayed by Nick who he expect will be much of help in getting justice. 

The plea deal require Derby to accept his guilt of all the crime  and confess against his partner Rupert , by doing so he was promised by Nick a shorter sentence in prison (only five years). 

Derby agreed and did it as promised, the judge closed the case by sentencing Rupert to death and Derby five years in prison. After case finalized Nick felt like Winner but Clyde felt like betrayed and felt more pain when he saw Nick shakes hands with Derby who was under arrest on his way  to prison. Clyde considered Nick  as worse traitor. 

Clyde was helpless, he did not know what to do but remain silent in pain, promised himself to seek revenge against the criminal responsible for his family death and entire legal system for letting criminal free without consequences of their action, he took an oath  to change the whole judicial system. 

Clyde disappeared, nowhere to be found, Ten Years Later he came back for revenge against each and everyone who participated in his case either direct or indirect,  people who turned against him no matter what, wherever  they go or hide he will search for them even turn the world upside down to get to them, they must go because they do not deserve a chance to breath and anybody who get in his way will suffer the same fate as traitor. He planned to erase all of them. 

The film is amazing, the performance of actors is off the chart but based on opinion the end of film is sad and not satisfying Despite that The director "F. Gary Gray" and writer "Kurt Wimmer" deserve to be gifted with much thanks for delivering such a nice film and well entertaining.
