Take Cover [ 2024

Film Summary

The film begins by showing lethal Marksman from the government known as Sam and his assessor Ken, placed themselves on a top of a building patiently waiting for their mark to arrive. Their task is to execute most feared thugs for a unknown film. It took a few minutes, finally the mark appeared with his woman. Sam Prepare himself and took a shot, sadly the bullet hit a woman in place of a man, Sam was shocked by miscalculation, immediately took a second shot and hit the intended mark.

After the completion of killings, Sam and Ken attempt to escape from the compound, but the compound was already surrounded by the guards. A brutal battle erupts soon after Sam and Ken saw the guards while looking for the way out of the compound building. With skills in combat two agents were able to vanquish the guards easily and fleeing without any problem. Despite fleeing safely, Sam had a lot of thought concerning a harmless woman, he murdered earlier that day. He blamed himself to the extent that he forced himself into retirement. Sam got in touch with his boss named "Tamara" and spoke to her about his plan to stop doing the job for the film. Tamara did not like Sam's idea of quitting, She persuaded him to accept one last mission.

Sam was silently scrubbing his gun outside his house. Out of the blue a wolf emerges, immediately Sam puts a gun in a position to shot but deep within himself there is a thing that holds him back from taking a shot. The Wolf did not do anything, it took steps back and left, this shows that Sam is not interested in taking life anymore.

Few days later, two agents "Sam and Ken" went to Frankfurt to do task given to them by Tamara. Throughout a journey, Ken was talking about how unhappy he is because Sam chooses to retire, then Ken tells Sam “Once you are involved in that type of life, you are in for life". Finally, they reached their destination, surprised it was very luxury apartments, Sam and Ken are embraced by manager of the apartment named Mirco and guides them into their apartment room. As soon as they entered into room, the first thing Sam asked for the curtains to to stay locked, cause is uncomfortable to be in open spaces. Minutes later, they received a gift from their boss "Tamara”, The gift was two women "Mona and Lily". Ken was given a nice massage by Lily, at the same time Mona attempt to talk to Sam, Sam refuses massage from Mona but decide to pay attention on what Mona speaks when she was reading his palm.

Sam and Ken were relaxing with girls, the waiter and manager "Marco" brings fruits, then Marco opens the curtains once again, Sam became more annoyed, suddenly the bullet starts flying from the sniper who hides in one among the buildings near the Apartment Sam and Ken where in and shot directly to them. Immediately all people in the room begin to hide themselves to take cover, Sam attempt to get a remote control to lock the curtains, surprisingly he was attacked by waitress. While struggling, bullet from another marksman went through the room and kills waitress on the spot, then apartment manager "Mirco" tries to attack Sam, caused a violent fight. Sam managed to subdue and knocks him out.

Quickly Ken got in touch with his boss "Tamara" and tells her that they are being attacked. Two women "Mona and Lily" was very scared, Sam saw them and tries to calm them down and gave them assurance that they will leave safely. Few minutes later Mirco wakes up and went after Sam once more. Sam’s partner Ken runs to help him and push Mirco off the building but the sniper saw Ken and shot him before he took cover, Ken did not die but he was severe wounded.

With a piece of mirror in his hand, Sam used a reflection to find the exactly location of the sniper, he was succeeded to identify the location of the sniper who was across the building. Sam contacted Tamara, she told Sam everything is ok and all snipers are eliminated, it safe now but Mona felt things are not safe and she told Sam do not trust her. Sam decided to look the opposite building once more, the sniper immediately took a shot at Sam. Now Sam is aware he has been deceived by Tamara, she does not want to let him go easily and alive.

The Marksman kept shooting at the apartment, with intense fear Lily attempt to fleeing from the room but suddenly she was shot and died on the spot. Sam understood Tamara observe every movement they take, so he wrecks all the camera inside the room, to stop her from watching their movement. Then he took out his gun, getting ready for battle. Few minutes later, assassins sent by Tamara went in the building, Sam destroy the enemy assessor with high accurate shot then kills multiple assassins as they getting inside the building.

The number of assassins kept increasing which forces Sam to engage in intense fights. While fighting Sam managed to remove a pin from the grenade on one of the attackers leads to huge explosion that eliminates several assassins. At the middle of the fights Mona decided to participate and she was able to kill another assassin. Sadly, in an attempt to run a sniper shot Mona before she dies Sam made a promise to her that he will take care of Her daughter who was very young. With intense rage Sam took his snipper riffle pinpoint the exactly location of the sniper, took a shot and kills him with one bullet.

Sam picked up Ken who was wounded severe brings back in the room. Sam was aware Ken is not going to make it, Ken tells Sam to flee by using the bedsheets as a parachute. Suddenly armed drones sent by Tamara appeared and starts to attack the apartment nonstop to destroy everything, Sam took cover and managed to destroy the drones when he went back to pick up his friend sadly Ken was already passed away due to his severe wounds.

More assassins sent by Tamara are getting close, Sam puts together several bedsheets and uses it as supporter to jump from apartment building to escape Tamara’s assassins. The bedsheet parachute tears apart while he was the falling, good thing he falls into a truck but he was ok.

After days, Sam managed to locate Tamara at the airport waiting for a flight to Dubai. He followed her inside a restroom and unlived her and her protector.  Later Sam took Mona’s daughter and left the airport, he stops from engaging himself into violence, the film ends with Sam managed to get his freedom and continue with his life peacefully.
