The meaning of "The Protector"

 Refers to a person who defend other people from harm or act as a defending mechanism to help people from being hurt by other people, animals even disasters such as accidents, Kidnapping, floods and more.

Why the film called "The Protector"?

The plot of the film is all about a mother who goes into extreme length to save her daughter after she was kidnapped twice by human traffickers, so as a mom her responsibility was to ensure her baby is safe from harm at any time, so the movie name derived from the storyline of the film itself.

My recommendations about the film

The movie storyline is not new into the world of cinema, probably it has been repeated several times more than any storyline ever existed and to make it worse the writer just copy and paste everything about the background life story of main actor as it is from other  movies like commando (Arnold Schwarzenegger) ,Taken (Liam Neeson), Rambo : Last Blood (Silvester Stallone) ,Working Man ( Jason Statham ) etc.

Starring Nikki  "Milla Jovovich " was special force in the army and former war hero ,She  quitted  from the military after the death of her husband  to take care her teenage daughter, she was living a quiet and peaceful life then bad thing happened her daughter was kidnapped at the bar by unknown guy, so She use her military training and experience to track down the kidnapper kill them all and save Her Daughter.

To be honest this film is one of the boring films I have never seen aside Buried 2010 film by Ryan Reynolds. When I saw film trailer, my thought was maybe it is going to be exciting because I, now Milla Jovovich and I have seen several movies of hers such as Monster hunter, Resident Evil, Survivor and many more, she is not that bad, I had high hope and stayed positive. When it was the time to watch the movie itself, OH my God I could not believe the amount of talking, a lot of background noise, some scene they just praise her ability to fight and yet she was nothing, too slow to fight, she even runs like toddler but she managed to catch up with car moving at high speed.

She bought a skate board to use as a weapon, who the hell does that? Veteran War hero, maybe this war hero can. The time I spent watching this movie was wasted, no excitement at all. The writer, Director and producer should be arrested and questioned about the intention of making such a garbage. No creativity, nothing new.

Milla Jovovich can act no doubt about it but this time her performance in this film "The Protector" was poor, Shallow despite her effort to look cool, dangerous and intimidating. This film might be the biggest failure in film industry in 2026 but let's wait the year is not over yet and more movies are about to be released.

If you really want to watch the movie, go ahead and watch it, you might find it entertaining, we are not the same, we have different perception, wish you all the best but you have been warned.
